“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”(Isaiah 61:1)
Since its foundation in 1965, <Guideposts> has been delivering the message that God is love (1 John 4:16) through “true stories of hope and inspiration” for the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the imprisoned. We give all the glory to God for being with us for not a short time, and thank all the readers who support us with prayer and love.
The world is changing at a frighteningly alarming rate. In addition, concepts and ways of thinking that oppose the truth are emerging in various forms. Nevertheless, <Guideposts> promises not to forget its mission as a “preacher of good news” fearlessly proclaiming the unchanging love of God.
We hope that everyone with <Guideposts> will enjoy the presence of Jesus in their daily lives.

“주 여호와의 영이 내게 내리셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 포로된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 놓임을 선포하며”(이사야 61:1).
<가이드포스트>는 1965년 창간 이래 가난한 자, 마음이 상한 자, 포로된 자 그리고 갇힌 자를 위하여 ‘희망과 영감을 담은 실화’를 통해 하나님은 사랑이심(요한1서 4:16)을 전해 왔습니다. 짧지 않은 시간 동안 함께해 주신 하나님께 모든 영광을 돌리며, 기도와 사랑으로 후원해 주시는 모든 독자님께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.
세상은 무서울 정도로 급변하고 있습니다. 또한 진리에 맞서는 개념과 사고방식들도 다양한 모습으로 떠밀려 오고 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 <가이드포스트>는 조금도 두려워하지 않고 하나님의 변하지 않는 사랑을 외치는 ‘아름다운 소식을 전하는 자’로서의 사명을 잊지 않을 것을 약속드립니다.
